I feel these two about white men coopting a movement that should straight-up be led by women of color. This has happened and continues to go on 500 times over in history, but the storm has been an opportunity for black women to step up and take care of their own shit. The most important thing that M and M are doing is letting these women be seen and heard--since poverty is usually a woman's issue anyway, and it is CERTAINLY an issue right about now in NOLA.
