Now if this isn’t a blog after Girldrive’s own heart, I don’t know what is: Amazing Women Rock highlights achievements and news items about inspirational women around the world.
This post particularly caught my eye today–it’s about a 26-year-old Indian women named Masarat Daud living in Dubai who left her schmancy job to help Indian villagers learn computer, public speaking and communications skills. The video explains more–basically, Masarat knows what’s up.
Now, Girldrive normally tracks the thoughts and triumphs of American women, but this was so fucking cool, I just had to share. Also, fab blog title if I ever saw one.
Update: Susan of AWR just informed me of her pick for “definitive amazing women road-trip tune, “Legend of a Cowgirl” by Imani Coppola. Maybe I need to add it to Girldrive’s Feminist Road Trip Mix!
