I’m sorry, I know this is slightly off-topic for Girldrive, given that I try to spotlight young women doing gutsy, feministy things. But seriously, John Mayer is an asshead. Read this New York Mag interview–I dare you to beg to differ. If this were me and I got talked to like this as a professional reporter, I would give John “I love you, you’re beautiful but shut your fucking mouth” Mayer the smackdown for reals. As Jill at Feministe quips–”Think homeboy would talk to a male reporter like that?” Methinks not. Ugh.
